FrameFit Perko Plugs provide a fully fire-tested method for reinstating single-action Perko door closers in fire-rated timber doors. Designed to maintain the integrity of FD30 fire doors, the system is tested to BS 476 Part 22, ensuring reliable performance during a fire event.
Each plug utilises a hardwood dowel wrapped in high-expansion intumescent, activating rapidly under heat to seal the void where the Perko closer would normally sit. This protects the door leaf, prevents premature failure, and supports compliance with fire door regulations.
