FrameFit door seals

FrameFit should be when a fire door has a gap greater than 4mm to the frame (on the head and sides of the door) and 8mm to the floor.

This product is a certifiable route to make sure that the gapping is compliant with building regulations.

It saves money because it eliminates the need for a new fire door, which can cost hundreds of pounds.

It also reduces environmental impact, as the door can still be used and not disposed of.

This product can reduce gaps of up to 15mm in size.

A new bottom door seal will be able to reduce gaps of up to 25 – 30mm in size.

The product is purchased in 5.2m long coils for the frame and head of the door. The bottom door seals only measure 1m.

This product has been tested to BS 476 part 22. It is suitable for FD30 and FD60 doors.

It has also been tested to BS 1634-1.

It comes in various sizes, to suit different gap sizes.

Installation

Please follow the installation advice provided.

FrameFit can be installed in temperatures of -30 to 50 degrees Celcius.

The product is mould and water resistant.

It has a Vicat softening point of 90 degrees C.
