Canvas, cardboard, curtains, clothing, carpets, dust sheets, polyurethane furniture, polystyrene, upholstery, wallpaper, tents, and even some nylon materials. It’s also an excellent choice during the festive period, ideal for protecting both real and artificial Christmas trees from the heat of decorative lights.

Once treated, items can be dry-cleaned or laundered without compromising the fire-retardant protection.

Application Instructions

Before full application, always test on a small, inconspicuous area to ensure colour fastness.

Furniture & Upholstery:
Spray all fabric areas, paying particular attention to sections with foam underneath. Ensure the 3-2-1 liquid fully penetrates both material and foam. For cushions with zips, open them and treat the inner foam as well as the outer cover. Repeat for non-removable cushions by pressing the spray into the foam with fingers or a soft cloth.

Curtains:
For single-layer curtains, spray one side thoroughly while hanging. For lined curtains, spray both sides evenly until moist.

Carpets:
Spray while laid, pressing the solution into foam backing using a cloth or pad for complete absorption.

Bedding & Mattresses:
If possible, remove covers and spray directly into foam, ensuring full penetration. If not removable, apply directly over the surface and work into the foam underneath.

Sheets, Blankets & Covers:
Spray evenly or dip into the 3-2-1 solution. After approximately five washes, re-treat to maintain fire protection.

Leather & Rexine Furniture:
Remove the underside fabric and spray into the foam interior to ensure the 3-2-1 penetrates deeply.

Additional Tip:
Keep a 3-2-1-soaked tea towel in your kitchen, in the event of a small pan fire, it can help smother flames safely.

• Curtains & bedding: 6–10 m² per litre

• Foam-filled furniture: 5–7 m² per litre (depending on polyurethane density)

• Christmas Trees: Safe for both real and synthetic trees, ensure the trunk is placed in sand or soil and kept hydrated with water for optimal fire protection.
