This product is suitable for external cladding of sheet metal ductwork, offering both thermal insulation and vapour control through its foil-faced barrier. It is used across multiple sectors, including construction, marine, automotive, HVAC, and OEM. Common applications include lining ductwork, ventilation systems, concrete columns, generators, compressors, process equipment, and electrical enclosures, where it helps manage heat transfer and reduce noise or transmission in demanding environments.

DWX consists of a flexible resin-bonded glass fibre quilt enclosed within an anti-dusting fleece and diamond-stitched. It features an outer heavy polymeric acoustic membrane with a surface weight of 5kg/m² or 10kg/m². The exposed surface is finished with a Class 0 reinforced H&V aluminum foil.
